Golf in Panama Terms and Conditions

Conditions and General Information:
The conditions below from the basis of any contract between you and Golf in Panama. When you contact Golf in Panama to book your tour, you appoint them to act as your agent to obtain the requested services for you. When they have done so, and you have confirmed the booking and paid the deposit, they will accept responsibility for providing your vacation from that point onwards. No employee or representative of Golf in Panama has the authority to change these conditions or information.
 
Luggage:
Baggage lost or damaged while property is in the custody of an airline, shipline, train, bus company, or transfer company cannot be the responsibility of Golf in Panama.
 
Packages prices includes:
Price quoted is per person, hotel accommodations (double occupancy) and appropriate taxes, confirmed tee times, 18 hole green fee (number of rounds depends upon package picked), shared cart fee, specified meals, VIP private transportation to all destinations specified by bilingual guide and accident insurance.

NOT INCLUDED IN TOTAL PRICES:
Airfares, airport taxes, caddies, alcoholic drinks, refreshments, laundry, tips and gratuities, telephone, items of a personal nature, meals not specified, entertainment not specified or any item not listed in the program.

Deposit:
To ensure a reservation, a deposit of 25% of total price per person must be received by Golf in Panama within 5 days of confirmation. All reservations for which the deposit is not received within 5 days are automatically canceled. The balance of the total cost is payable at least 30 days prior to your day of arrival. This ensures that all necessary vouchers will be delivered to your email address at least 15 days prior to your scheduled date of arrival. If you choose your account may be automatically billed the outstanding balance 30 days prior to travel. Please ask your Golf in Panama representative for details.  All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. Receipt of a signed check, Credit Card authorization or confirmation of funds received by wire transfer by Golf in Panama acknowledges acceptance of our terms and conditions.

Method of Payment:
Personal or company check, wire transfer of funds or VISA, Mastercard or Discover/NOVUS are accepted. Late payments (within 15 days of arrival date) must be in the form of certified check, credit card or wire transfer.  All payments are made to Golf in Panama.

Cancellation Charges and Refunds:
If any trip is canceled by Golf in Panama all deposits and payments will be refunded in full. A deposit equal to 25% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your tour reservation and the deposit may be subject to penalty should cancellation occur. After acceptance of the booking if the customer does not pay the balance of the tour price by the described time, Golf in Panama reserves the right to cancel the booking and the customer will forfeit the deposit. Cancellation charge will apply as follows: If cancellation occurs 31+ days prior to departure – a cancellation charge equal to the amount of deposits paid by Golf in Panama to suppliers to confirm your booking will be assessed in addition to the administration fee detailed below. If cancellation occurs 21-30 DAYS prior to departure – a cancellation charge equal to 30% of the total tour price will be assessed. If cancellation occurs 15-20 DAYS prior to departure – a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the total tour price will be assessed.  If cancellation occurs 14 days or less prior to departure a cancellation charge equal to 75% of the total tour price will be assessed.These cancellation and curtailment stipulations are in line with the world tourism and travel standards.

Cancellations:
Notification of cancellation by a client must be forwarded in writing to Golf in Panama. Cancellation charges are as stated on the cancellation charges schedule. No refund will be made for unused portions of a travel package.

It is important to note that many hotels and golf courses and boat services have non-refundable deposits and strict cancellation policies. Refunds will be mailed directly to your home or applied to your credit cards. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.

Cancellation/Change Fee:
A $40 per person administration fee will be charged for any cancellation of the reservation that is requested after the original booking is confirmed and processed. Each change in a completed golf or tour schedule may be assessed a $5.00 change fee to cover for administrative charges and reissued vouchers.

Unused Tour Services:
Tour services included in this package and not used are non refundable. No refunds will be made for unused hotel accommodation and unused tee times, meals not taken, nor any other services not used due to flight delays, schedule changes or for any other reason.

RAIN REFUND POLICY:
In case of bad weather, call the golf course and inquire if they are open (you would receive a complete guide of the golf courses and contact numbers upon arrival). Golf in Panama will only issue a refund if the golf course is closed on your scheduled day of play. If the course is closed, please call our office and let us know. Then, simply write "rain out" on the voucher, along with the name of the signature of the person you spoke with at the golf course, and mail it back to us for an adjusted refund (100% of green fee value of the specified course). If the course is not closed, Golf in Panama has guaranteed a paid.

GOLF ATTIRE:
In general, resort wear is expected. Golf shoes (spikeless) and collared shirts are required at all times for men. Shorts are acceptable. Please do not wear jeans, cut-offs, tank tops, or sneakers. For women, we recommend golf shoes (spikeless) with socks, collared shirts, and slacks, shorts, or golf skirts.

Documentation:
For U.S. or Canadian citizens, the requirement is a current passport. Citizens of other countries should check with the appropriate Embassy.

Responsibility:
Golf in Panama or its agents acts only in the capacity of agent for the passengers in all matters relating to travel whether by plane, car, motor coach or any other means of conveyance. It shall not be liable for any injury damage or loss resulting from the neglect or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passengers or of any hotel proprietor or other person supplying services or materials. Furthermore, Golf in Panama is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by: Any major force, health issues, acts of God, acts of government or other entity, wars, or threat of war, industrial dispute, disaster, terrorism, riot or civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities, inclement weather or any other circumstance beyond its control. Golf in Panama reserves the right to withdraw or cancel any described program, refuse or retain any person as a member of the travel group at any time to make changes in the printed itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, conditions warrant or if it deems it necessary for the convenience or safety of the passengers. All prices are based on U.S dollars. Unless services are unused by prior arrangement no refund can be made. Golf in Panama is not liable for loss, damage or theft of luggage or personal belongings, for personal injury, accident or illness on any vehicle or at any place throughout the tour.

Jurisdiction and Venue:
The parties hereto agree that should any legal action be commenced to enforce any terms and conditions of this agreement or any legal action is commenced in any way, directly or indirectly, related to this agreement, that jurisdiction and venue for said legal action shall be in the City of Panama, Republic of Panama
