We board the world’s first trans-continental railway-The historic Panama Canal Railway, inaugurated en 1855. This trip takes you across the Isthmus from Panama City in the Pacific Ocean side, to Colon, on the Atlantic Ocean, passing by the GatúnLake, Miraflores Locks and through the dense rainforest of the Panama Canal Basin. Upon arrival in Colón we visit the Portobelo City with a Private Guide that explains you his history. Also a visit to the Casco Viejo and to the Ruins of Panama Viejo is a step way back in history; Panama Viejo was the first city the Spanish founded on the PacificCoast of the Americas.
